More Of Kev's 30-Years On Baton Rouge Radio Special

On the right is the WJBO microwave antenna, on top of the studio building at 444 Florida Boulevard, around 1978. That antenna would send the signal from the radio station to the transmitter building, in Port Allen. WJBO's antenna is the one pointed to the left (west) and WFMF's is pointed south (right). All of our voices went thorugh that antenna, before it could get to your radios. Thanks to Ed Oliver and Leo Grant, our engineers... back in "The Day."

The large structure on the left-side, of the picture, is the telephone company's microwave relay tower, downtown.
